What is the minimum age and which driving licence do I need?
23 years for categories B, BC, B+, BCA, CA, CD, D and D1 — 25 years for E1, E1A, SW, SWA, SUV, SUVA and 7- to 9-seaters. Maximum age: 70. The licence must have been issued at least one year earlier and must be shown as the original, not a copy. A licence from outside the EU additionally requires an international driving permit (IDP).

At what times can I pick up and return the car?
The office (phone, advice, contract) is open Monday to Friday 08:30–20:00 and Saturday 08:30–14:00. Vehicle pick-up and return: Monday to Friday 08:45–19:45, Saturday 08:45–13:45; closed on Sundays and public holidays. Outside these hours and on public holidays additional charges may apply — the amount is shown in your booking summary. At Makedonia Airport (SKG) handover is available daily 07:00–21:00 at no extra charge.

How many kilometres are included?
From 4 rental days onwards mileage is unlimited. For up to 3 days, 150 km per day are included; each additional kilometre costs 0.10 € plus VAT.

How high is the excess and what does the insurance cover?
The excess is 500 € (B, BC, BCA) · 600 € (B+, C, CA, CD, D1) · 800 € (D, E1, E1A, SW, SWA) · 1,000 € (SUV, SUVA, 7–9 seat van), plus 24 % VAT. Full cover without excess is available as an option, priced per day and category. Not covered — even with full cover: underbody, tyres, rims, windows, interior, burnt upholstery and loss of keys or accessories. For tyres, rims and windows there is an additional insurance at 3–4 € per day per category.

Do I need an additional driver, a child seat or a GPS?
The additional driver is free of charge. Child seat 2 € per day, reservation required; the parent fits it. GPS 7 € per day, maximum 50 € per rental.

How does refuelling work?
The car is handed over and returned with the same amount of fuel. Any difference is refuelled and charged; unused fuel is not refunded.

Are snow chains required?
From 1 October to 30 April snow chains are required by law, with a fine of 80 €. We provide them on request at pick-up for 15–20 € per rental.

May I drive abroad or take the car on a ferry?
Crossing the border is not permitted. A ferry crossing requires written approval beforehand; damage caused during transport is not covered by the insurance.

What should I do in case of a breakdown or an accident?
Inform the office immediately — without a report the renter is liable for all damage, even with full cover. A replacement car is provided within 48 hours (15.09–14.06) or 72 hours (15.06–14.09). Roadside assistance is available around the clock.

Where can I pick up the car?
At our office at Monastiriou 333, Menemeni, and at the station next to Makedonia Airport (SKG), at the 13th km of the Thessaloniki – Nea Michaniona road, right beside Alpha Park: free of charge. Also at the train station, KTEL Macedonia, KTEL Chalkidiki, the Nea Elvetia metro station, the port and your hotel, for a small surcharge. You see the amount during booking. Other locations by arrangement.

Can I cancel my booking?
Cancellation is free up to 2 days before pickup. For last-minute changes or cancellations, please call us on +30 2310 700 600.

Can I rent without a deposit?
Yes. With Full Insurance (no excess) no deposit is required. Without it, the deposit depends on the car category, and you see it during booking before you confirm. In detail: car rental without deposit
Can I rent without a credit card?
Yes. With Full Insurance (no excess) you need neither a deposit nor a credit card. You choose Full Insurance during booking and pay the rental in cash at pickup. In detail: no deposit, no credit card
